Firefox: We caught Microsoft asleep at the wheel

Firefox has achieved what many thought impossible and overturned Microsoft’s browser monopoly. This week the company announced that the browser had achieved 400 million downloads. We caught up with Tristan Nitot, president of Mozilla Europe, to find out why the open-source browser has been so successful and get the latest news on Firefox 3.
PC Pro reports Firefox has a 20% market share of the oft battled-over browser market. Any of you kids ever heard of Netscape. If you have, then you know what a huge feet these guys accomplished. Why does this mean anything, well if your Corporate Security Policy allows you to use Firefox, you might give it a try. It has tons of functionality and is usually a beter security choice.
